Turfman TasksHow to use the board
Getting in
- Go to tasks.turfman.com.au on your phone or computer.
- Log in with the username and password the office gave you.
- Change your password: tap Account → Change my password.
- On a phone: add it to your home screen so it opens like an app. iPhone: Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen. Android: Chrome → ⋮ → Add to Home screen.
Forgot your password? Ask the owner or office to reset it. Don’t share logins — the board records who did what.
What you see
- To do — everything open, grouped Overdue, Today, Tomorrow, This week, Later, No date. Urgent jobs sit at the top of each group.
- Waiting — waiting on a customer or supplier to get back to us.
- Done — finished in the last 30 days.
- Activity — time logged by each person today, this week or this month.
- The coloured counts at the top (urgent, overdue, due today, calls to return, unassigned) are buttons — tap one to show just those tasks.
- The coloured strip on the left of a task shows urgency: red urgent, orange high, green normal, grey low.
Working a task
- Tap the task to open it: change the date, who it’s assigned to, the details, or move it to Waiting.
- Tap the circle to tick it off when it’s done. Tap again to put it back.
- Tap a phone number to ring the customer.
- Open email opens the customer’s email in Gmail (info@ account). Open draft opens a reply that’s been written for you — read it, fix anything, then send it from Gmail.
- Work log (inside a task): write what you did and the minutes it took, e.g. “Rang, left voicemail — 3”. This is how hours show up in Activity.
- + New task for anything that comes in by phone or in person.
Tasks marked Added by Claude were created automatically from the inbox. Check them like any other task.
Good habits
- Look at Overdue and Today first thing.
- If you can’t finish something, change the date rather than leaving it overdue.
- Put a name on unassigned tasks so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Log your time on the task as you go — it takes five seconds.
For the owner / admin
- Account → People and logins: add a person, reset a password (a new one is shown once — pass it on straight away), or turn someone off when they leave. Their history stays.
- A yellow note at the top of the board means a backup or the server needs a look. Ask Claude to check the server.
- Finished tasks are removed automatically after 2 years. Backups run every night.
